CROdelicious biomimetic honey consists of nectar from the pasture of plants from the Amorpha family (Amorpha fruticosa), daisy (Asteraceae sp.), sweet chestnut, acacia, meadow plants and legumes (Fabaceae sp.).
Our bees (the indigenous grey bee, Apis mellifera carnica) live and produce honey in the area of the Sunja River and the Lonjsko Polje Nature Park, where the untouched nature of mesophilic meadows, forests, water, and air is suitable for organic farming and permaculture.
The biomimetic process and production of our honey is based on the life principles of biomimicry (from the Greek bios = live and to mimic = to imitate). From the bees and nature we have learned how to produce biomimetic honey, supporting the sustainable and healthy life of bees and their ecosystem. Since 2018, we have been helping our bees establish healthy and happy hives, and now they have produced enough biomimetic honey that we wish to share with you.
